Abstract: A final report of the 1970 Labor Day Storm is presented. The meteorological event, hydrological event, and estimated losses and damages are summarized. The losses and damages to human, cultural, and natural resources caused by the storm were difficult to ascertain, although actual expenditures exceeded $8.2 million in the initial 18 months after the storm.
