Subject: geology
Vegetation type: Ponderosa Pine
Location: Beaver Creek watersheds
Abstract: A study to determine the relationship between cinder distribution and runoff on small watersheds in north central Arizona is described based on a limited amount of data. Tentative results indicate that greater runoff occurs in watersheds having greater cinder cover; cinder cover appears to enhance rather than reduce runoff potential.
