Abstract: Psychophysical models of scenic beauty for an all-aged ponderosa pine area are combined with estimates of management costs and physical output values to indicate more efficient input combinations for production of scenic beauty. The scenic beauty models are used to examine tradeoffs between scenic beauty and net present worth from timber, forage, and water yields.
